                                          Description

This country home is near "Castello della Pieve", a medieval village in the Municipality of Mercatello sul Metauro, that gave hospitality to Dante Alighieri during his exile. The country-house has a sturdy structure in natural stone with three open sides (one side is connected with the neighbour house) and has a beautyful view toward the valley of the river Metauro and toward “Castello della Pieve”. The project of restauration foresees the realization of a big apartment on three floors.Complet living space is 285 m², with three baths, three double bedrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room,store room, two taverns and wine cellar.There are two independent entrances and garden (1000 m²). Two small storerooms above and under the stairway which are connecting the floors. Above the bath of the department there is another big storeroom , not marked in project plan; above the attic of the oven, nearby the principal entry, there’s a loft of 6 m² not marked in plan. Two underground parking lots of altogether 48 m² can be realized. The restauration maintains the original character of the house. For the restoration we used only high quality materials, as visible oak beams, hand-made terracotta bricks for the ceiling, hand-madeterracotta tiles for the pavements ,window frames and interior doors in solid wood (oak) with iron mounting and handeles made in antiche style. The roof is insulated, on the ground floor we used water resistent plaster. The inside ceilings are sound-proofed. There are planed two fireplaces with chimney refined inside in steel and outside in handmade bricks. We have foreseen central gas heating with two independent boiler, one for the groundfloor and one for the upper floors, with independent adjustable temperatures for living section and bathrooms. Rain water picked up to irrigate. The rebuilding works will be finished according to buyer wishes. The price includes all internal and external works, except underground garages, one fireplace, the planting of hedges, bushes and plants. It is possible to cultivate a small park, orchard or vineyard.
